Kristin is a graduate student at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC working towards her Master in Music Therapy with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy. She holds an undergraduate degree in Professional Music with an emphasis in Songwriting, as well as a minor in Digital Culture and New Media Studies, from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Beginning in June, she will begin her music therapy internship with Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, before continuing work towards her master's the following year. She hopes to integrate expressive arts including movement, art mediums, and creative writing into her work as a budding music therapist, and as a daily process within her own life to promote growth in herself and in others.
